Harry was born on March 23, 1924 in Crownpoint, New Mexico and he passed away on September 11, 2014 in Casa Blanca, New Mexico.
He was a Farmhand 1945, Union Pacific Railroad 1946, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Thoreau Boarding School, Maintenance 1966-1996 and a Veteran of World War II with the US Army. He was very active with his local Veterans Organization. He was a Christian and a member of the Navajo Christian Church of Borrego Pass, NM. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his wife: Annie Chavez Burnside of Crownpoint, New Mexico; Sons: Harrison Burnside, Roger Burnside, Norman Burnside, Samuel Burnside, Chris Burnside, Harry Burnside, Jr., Archie Burnside ; Daughters: Nancy Burnside, Angie Burnside and Gloria Burnside; Brother: Jones Morgan of Dalton Pass, New Mexico; Sister: Lily Perry of Dalton Pass, New Mexico;
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Joe Morgan and Bah Shorty; Son: Bobby Burnside; Brothers: Herbert Cowboy, Perry Cowboy, Howard Cowboy, Tom Cowboy, Tomy Shorty; Sisters: Helen Shorty, Esther Meguelito, Dorothy Thompson, Elsie Cambridge and Lois McRay.
Pallbearers will be: Harrison Burnside, Roger Burnside, Norman Burnside, Samuel Burnside, Chris Burnside, Harry Burnside, Jr., Archie Burnside.
Honorary Pallbearer will be: Bobby Burnside,Shawn Shorty, Hugh Jensen, Brian Burnside.
