Funeral Services for Gregorio Torrez 80, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-June 16, 2010-11:00 AM at the Potters House in Grants, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Larry Teshima will officiate.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday-June 15, 2010-6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Gregorio was born on July 5, 1929 in McGaffey, New Mexico and he passed way on June 10, 2010 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a retired Uranium Miner.
He is survived by his children: Helene Farley and husband Wayne of Grants, New Mexico, Karen Sedillo and husband Lawrence of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Janelle Saavedra and husband Serafico of Amarillo, Texas and Richard Torrez of Grants, New Mexico;
6 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife: Priscilla Torrez; Parents: David Torrez, Sr. and Paz Torrez; Brothers and Sisters: Thomas Torrez, Florencia Gabaldon, Esther Calzada, Fela Martinez, Martina Sena, Rita Marez, Rosenda Rubi, David Torrez, Jr., Benito Torrez and Rayes Torrez.
Pallbearers will be: Andres Sedillo, Anthony Saavedra, Aaron Saavedra, Adam Saavedra, Kevin Farley, Adrian Farley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mark Saavedra, Noah Farley, Daniel Saavedra, A. J. Sedillo and Antonio Sedillo.
