Mrs Platero was born on March 14, 1940 and she passed away on February 15, 2009 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was retired form the Gallup McKinley County Schools as a Bus Driver.
She is survived by her children: Felicia Martinez of Bluewater, New Mexico, Barbara Jim of Casamero Lake, New Mexico, Sharon Matt of Sanders, Arizona, Samuel Bruce of Shiprock, New Mexico and Kendall Bruce of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sisters: Alice Mariano of Prewitt, New Mexico, Janet Marizno of Casamero Lake, New Mexico and Virginia Martinez of Casamero Lake, New Mexico; Brothers: Benny Long of Prewitt, New Mexico, Dan Long of Prewitt, New Mexico, Edison Long of South Dakota, Frank Long of Casamero Lake, New Mexico and Benjamin Long of Prewitt, New Mexico; 27 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: John Long and Mary Cleveland Long.
