George Sarver

May 11, 1923 — November 29, 2007

Services for Master Sargent George Lewis Sarver, Jr. 84, of Albuquerque, New Mexico will be held on Monday-December 3, 2007-11:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Elder Job Shop will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Military Honors will be performed by the Kirtland Airforce Base Honor Guard.



Visitation will be held on Sunday-December 2, 2007-2:00-5:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Mr. Sarver was born on May 11, 1923 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and he passed away on November 29, 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was retired from the US Airforce. He was a Life Time Member of the Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church and Helped open the Crownpoint Boarding School where he was a Teacher for many years.



He is survived by his wife: Helen Sarver of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Children: George Lewis Sarver, III of Phoenix, Arizona, Barbara Willcox and husband Eugene of Grants, New Mexico, Timothy Sarver and wife Effa or Grants, New Mexico, Deborah Blocker and husband Shane of Albuquerque, New Mexico and George Sarver, IV of Texas; Sisters: Esther Adarui and Dr. Peggy Sarver of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania; 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his parents: George Lewis Sarver, Sr. and Margaret Sarver.



Pallbearers will be: Jesse Sarver, Timothy Sarver, Jr., Ben Willcox, Edward Willcox, David Willcox, Ryan Shane Blocker, Leslie Wayne Sarver, Andrew Sarver.
