Private family services for George Warner Cooper, 55, of Grants, New Mexico were held on Friday-October 20, 2006 at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will be held on Monday-October 23, 2006 at Green Valley Cemetery, Kiowa County, Oklahoma.



Mr. Cooper was born on October 2, 1951 in Prineville, Oregon and passed away on October 18, 2006 in Grants, New Mexico.

He was employed with the Grants Good Samaritan and a Social Worker at the time of his death.



He is survived by his wife: Cathey Gordon Cooper of Grants, New Mexico; Children: George Wayland Cooper of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jere Dale Cooper of Grants, New Mexico, Charity Ott of Tulsa, Oklahoma, John Cooper of Grants, New Mexico, Faith Cooper of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Step Children: Timothy Gordon of Saddle Mountain, Oklahoma, Lynn Smith of Lubbock, Texas, and Carrie Smith of Weatherford, Oklahoma; Sisters: Wilma Hodge of Bethel, Oklahoma, Wanda Fruik of Grants, New MExico and Betty Hall of Grants, New Mexico; 7 Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Warner Eugene Cooper and Thelma Smalling Cooper, and a brother James Wayland Cooper.
