Funeral Services for Gene B. Morgan 74 of Thoreau, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-January 11, 2018-10:00 AM at the Thoreau Church of God, Pastor Tom White will officiate. Burial will follow on Private Family Land in Thoreau, New Mexico.



Gene was born on July 29, 1943 in Thoreau, New Mexico and he passed away on January 7, 2018 in Thoreau, New Mexico. He was a Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.



He is survived by his Sister: Sadie Morgan of Thoreau, New Mexico; Brother: Nelson B. Morgan of Gallup, New Mexico and many nieces and nephews.



He is preceded in death by his Parents: Jim B. Morgan and Irene "Platero" Morgan; Brothers: Jameson B. Morgan, Thompson B. Morgan and Emerson B. Morgan; Sisters: Ella House and Emma Beagle.



Pallbearers will be: Sean Mitchell, Sr., Nate Reed, Alan Apfel, Aaron Morgan, Dana Cardy-House, Duane Frame.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Nelson Morgan, Ezikiel Morgan, Sean Mitchell, Jr., Dempsey Brown, Jr., Wilfred Curley, Sr., Leroy Monte, Eric House.
