Services for Freda Mae Smith, 41, of Thoreau, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-may 24, 2008-10:00 AM at the Prewitt Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow at the Thoreau Community Cemetery. Pastor Ruth Droll will officiate.
Freda was born on July 11, 1966 and passed away on May 20, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was employed with the Womens State Prison in Grants at the time of her death.
She is survived by her children: Leah Lamipeti of Thoreau, New Mexico, Calvena Toledo of Grants, New Mexico, Dorenda Toledo of Thoreau, New Mexico, Calvin Toledo, Jr. of Thoreau, New Mexico, Daniel Largo of Thoreau, New Mexico, Holden Toledo of Thoreau, New Mexico, Hayden Largo of Thoreau, New Mexico; Parents: Fred Smith, Jr. and Lavern Smith of Prewitt, New Mexico; Sisters: Gloria Dominguez of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Wanda Chavez of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Lucille Yazzie of Gallup, New Mexico, Audrey Smith of Prewitt, New Mexico and Rhonda Smith of Pecos, New Mexico; Brothers: Fredrick Smith of Prewitt, New Mexico, Roderick Smith of Prewitt, New Mexico and Dalton Smith of Prewitt, New Mexico; and 2 Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother: Freddie Smith.
