Fred Lucero

Rosary and Funeral Mass for Fred G. Lucero 90, of Grants will be held on Monday-July 6, 2015-9:30-AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.



Fred was born on August 26, 1924 in Villanueva, New Mexico and he passed away on July 1, 2015 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a retired Uranium Miner and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.



He is survived by his children: Liz Baez and husband Sid of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tillie Martinez of Boulder City, Nevada, George Lucero and wife Lydia of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Pete Baca of Grants, New Mexico, Mike Lucero and wife Rena of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Lucy Diaz and husband Chico of Cubero, New Mexico, Paulina Molina and husband Elias of Grants, New Mexico, Freddy Lucero and wife Edna of San Rafael, New Mexico, Margaret Lucero and husband Jimmy Heras of Bernalillo, New Mexico; Brothers: Pete Lucero and wife Flora Ana of Portales, New Mexico, Benny Lucero of Portales, New Mexico and Jesus M. Lucero, Jr. of Portales, New Mexico; Sisters: Marie Lovato and husband Fernando of Portales, New Mexico and Marcella Lucero of Portales; 39 Grandchildren, 94 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his loving wife: Carmen Baca Lucero; Parents: Jesus M. Lucero, Sr. and Tilie Gonzales Lucero; Daughter: Evelyn Moreno; Sons: Alfredo Lucero, Jr., Robert Lucero and Paul Lucero; 1 Grandchild and 2 Great Grandchildren.



Pallbearers will be: George Lucero, Pete Baca, Mike Lucero, Freddy Lucero, Tony Molina and Jimmy Heras.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Chico Diaz and Sid Baez.
