Frances Rodriguez

Frances Rodriguez, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, was called home to God on February 1st, 2025, at the age of 51 in San Rafael, New Mexico. Frances leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion, having been preceded in death by her devoted parents, Rosario and Corine Rodriguez, and her cherished siblings, Bernadine, Lawrence, and Ermalinda Rodriguez, as well as her dear companion, Jeffrey Rodriguez.

Frances is survived by her son, Ismael Melton, his partner Teja Leno, and their beautiful son, Jayden. Her daughter, Iysha, along with her loving siblings—Tony, Ronald, Juanita, Andrea Rodriguez—and a host of nieces and nephews—Adriana, Zeke, Leticia, Janice, Jeronimo, Riana (along with her son Lorenzo), Nevaeh, Josiah, Bianca, Karina, Estrella, Delilah, Azaria, and Layla—will forever carry her memory and spirit in their hearts.

Born on November 13th, 1973, in Grants, New Mexico, Frances was known for her generous heart and her willingness to lend a hand to those in need. Over the past eight years, she embraced her purpose as a caregiver, pouring her love into each life she touched. Cooking for her loved ones and nurturing children brought her immense joy, while the sounds of classic rock filled her home with warmth and happiness.

The Rodriguez, Hernandez, and Melton families are deeply saddened by Frances' passing and will honor her memory with a heartfelt farewell. A service will be held on February 21st, 2025, at San Rafael Catholic Church, beginning with a Rosary at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM.

As we remember Frances, we celebrate the bright light she brought into our lives and the indelible mark she leaves in our hearts. She will be missed profoundly, yet her spirit will continue to inspire love and kindness in all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
