Florencio Romero

Funeral Mass for Florencio Romero, 87, of Grants, New Mexico will be held Saturday-November 3, 2007-9:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park with Military Honors by the VFW Lodge 3221.



A rosary will be recited on Friday-November 2, 2007-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.



Mr. Romero was born on October 20, 1920 in Cleveland, New Mexico and passed away on October 31, 2007. He is a veteran of



Mr. Romero is survived by his wife: Flo Romero of Grants, New Mexico; Sons: J.D Moya and wife Gale of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughter Vicki Gonzales and husband Fred of Grants, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Jolene Buoniconti of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jamie Gonzales of Providence, Rhode Island, Jessica Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico, Kristy Rodarte, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sandy James and husband Kyle of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Justin Moya of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Great Grandchildren: Andre Gonzales of Charlotte, North Carolina, Davon Jaramillo, of Charlotte, North Carolina, Alyssa Buoniconti of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ashton Buoniconti of Charlotte, North Carolina, Adason Buoniconti of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jade Rodarte of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Dylan James of Las Cruces, New Mexico.



He is proceded in death by his parents:David and Cecilia Romero; Brothers: Donilio Romero, Moises Romero, Rubel Romero, Abelsandro Romero, Rosendo Romero and Alfonso Romero; Sisters: Stella Saiz, Frances Griego, Amelia Mondragon and Dolores Gonzales.



Pallbearers will be:Justin Moya, Adrea Gonzales, Davon Jaramillo, Mike Griego, Dennis Saiz, Bill Tanuz.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ernie Griego, Frank Griego, Jessie Griego, Flavio Romero, Junior Romero, David Mondragon, Gabe Romero, Cruz Romero, Eddie Ross, and John Visarraga.
