Funeral Services for Flora Hudson Martinez, 104, of Prewitt, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-July 22, 2006-10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints, Grants, New Mexico. Rev. Milton Shirleson will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Mrs. Martinez was born September 1, 1901 into the Sleeping Rock People and for the Red Running into the Water People, and passed away on July 18, 2006 in Prewitt, New Mexico.
She is survived by her children: Nora Montano of San Mateo, Mae Lynch of Prewitt, New Mexico, Flora Dimitriou of Prewitt, New Mexico, Juan Martinez of San Mateo, New Mexico, Leo Martinez of Prewitt, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Patricio "Paddy" Martinez; Parents: Louie Hudson and Fannie Gordon; children: Roy Martinez, Sr., Nina M. Largo, Juanita Martinez, Julian Martinez; Brothers: Louie Yazzie, Cecil Lewis, Louie Hudson, Tom Bruce Hudson and a sister Marie Delgarito.
