Rosary and Funeral Mass for Felix Martinez, Sr., 83, of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Monday-August 8, 2005-10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Mr. Martinez was born on July 2, 1922 in Corrales, New Mexico and passed away on August 5, 2005 in Grants, New Mexico. He is a retired Under Sheriff of the McKinley County Sheriffs office.
He is survived by his Daughter: Anita Vargas of Gallup, New Mexico; Sons: Steve Martinez and Felix Martinez both of Gallup, New Mexico; Sisters: Martha Estrada of Gallup, New Mexico; Brothers: Frank Martinez of Gallup, New Mexico and Albino Martinez of Zuni, New Mexico; 6 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Chriselda Martinez; Parents: Juan Martinez and Maria Archibeque Martinez; Sons: Daniel Martinez and Manuel Martinez; Brothers: Juan Martinez and Joe Martinez; and Sister: Lola Verdugo.
Pallbearers will be: Kyle Martinez, Jared Martinez, Marc Vargas, Danny Martinez, Wayne Martinez, and Andrew Jaquez.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Chewy Vargas and Frank Martinez.
