Funeral Services for Federico "Lico" Rodriguez 87, of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-Janaury 31, 2013-10:00 AM at the East Aztec Baptist Church. Pastor Antonio Resendez will officiate.
Lico was born on March 2, 1925 in Coauhuila, Mexico and he passed away on January 26, 2013 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was retired from the City of Gallup Road Department.
Lico came to the United States in 1953 and became a US Citizen in 1970. He was married for 68 years to his true "LOVE" Adelina. He enjoyed fishing, dancing to Cumbia Music, and loved to eat at the Chili Factory. Some of the companies he worked for is Ford Central Motors, Pepsi, and the City of Gallup.
He is survived by his loving wife: Adelina Rodriguez of Gallup, NM, Daughters: Bertha Avila, of Gallup, Narcie Molina of Gallup, NM, Veronica Jaramillo of Los Lunas, NM and Lena Burger (Ortega) of Grants, NM; 18 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 30 Great Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son: Freddy Rodriguez; Parents: Elpido Rodriguez and Teodura Negrete.
Pallbearerers will be: Michael Molina, Jr., Rudy Gonzales, Isreal Avila, Jr., Jason Rodriguez, Mario Ponce, Xavier Ramirez, Michael Molina, Sr., Isreal Avila, Sr., Louis Ortega.
