Funeral Services for Faustin Isidoro Gallegos 76, of Grants, NM will be held on Friday-December 31, 2010-12:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Rodeo Road in Grants, NM. Burial will be held on Saturday-January 1, 2011-2:00 PM in Sena, NM.
Visitation will be held on Thursday-December 30, 2010-4:00 PM-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Faustin was born on July 10, 1934 in Sena, NM and he passed away on December 26, 2010 in Grants, NM surrounded by his family.
He was better known as "Ezy" by his mining co-workers and friends. He was a hard worker and good provider for his wife and 9 children. He took every task very seriously. He retired from Mining after being diagnosed with Parkinson Disease in 1983.
In 1955 he moved his wife and first daughter to Grants, when he began his mining career.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Helen (Maria Elena) Gallegos of Grants, NM; Children: Virginia Sanders, Rita Gallegos, Rosa Sandoval, Lillian Kirkpatrick and husband Roger, Martha Lovato and husband David, Ruth Gallegos, David Gallegos and wife Annette, Rebecca Dominguez and husband Pat, Andrew Gallegos and wife Michele: 28 Grandchildren, and 20 Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Erlinda Gallegos and Lucy Hicks.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Faustina Duran Gallegos who passed away when he was eight years old and Jose Maria Gallegos who passed away on August of 1973; sister: Alcarita Gonzales and grandson: Eriek Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday-December 30, 2010-4:00 PM-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
