Funeral Service for Eugene Lee Willcox 70, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-May 21, 2013-10:00 AM at First Baptist Church on Mt. Road in Grants, NM. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park
Viewing will be held at Compassion Mortuary at 120 N. 3rd St. Grants, NM on Monday-May 20, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Eugene Lee Willcox passed away on May 14, 2013 at the age of 70. He was born April 8, 1943 in Bakersfield, CA.
He was a loving and compassionate Husband, Father and Grandfather, who cherished his family. He loved spending time and supporting his children and grandchildren in school and sporting events. A longtime resident of Grants, he retired after 28 years of service at Homestake Mining Company.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara Willcox, 4 Children and Spouses: Ben and Anita Willcox, Rebecca and Kenneth Polk, Edward and Andrea Willcox and David and Tracy Willcox. Sister: Beverly Snyder. 9 Grandchildren: Candace Chavez, Felicia Polk, Alexander Polk, Jacob Willcox, Adam Willcox, David Willcox, Wesley Willcox, Joshua Willcox and Elena Willcox. 3 Great Grandchildren: Melia Chavez, Kaily Mack and Noah Chavez.
He is preceded in death by Parents: Odell and Virginia Willcox.
Pallbearers will be: Jacob Willcox, Alexander Polk, Dominic Chavez, Tim Sarver, Jerry Wilcox, Rodney Wilcox, Michael Quintana and Claudie Willcox.
Honorary Pallbearers are the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
