Funeral Mass for Emma Archuleta 62, of San Rafael, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-September 22, 2010-10:00 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church. Burial will be held at a later date. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday-September 21, 2010-1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary. A Rosary will be held on Tuesday-September 21, 2010-7:00 PM at the San Rafael Catholic Church.
Emma was born on September 23, 1947 in San Rafael, New Mexico and she passed away on September 16, 2010 in San Rafael, New Mexico. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and frined to many. Emma was a women with a big heart. She loved her children, grandchildren and family so very much, she really enjoyed the time she spent with each family member. Emma went out of her way to help anyone in need. Didnt' matter who it was. Emma was abig beliver in family and always said " Family is all you have so always take care of one another." She will be missed by so many but one day we will see her again.
She is survived by her loving children: Billy Archuleta and wife Bonnie of San Rafael, New Mexico, JoJo Archuleta and companion Jenny Martinez of San Rafael, New Mexico, Anthony Archuleta and wife Monique of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Frankie Apodaca of San Rafael, New Mexico, Ralph Apodaca of Grants, New Mexico; sisters: Eloisa Valdez of San Rafael, New Mexico and Peggy Valdez of San Rafael, New Mexico; 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband: William J. Archuleta on June 11, 2010; Daughter: Brenda Archuleta; Parents: Nestor Apodaca and Martina Apodaca; Brothers: Aurelio Apodaca, Viviano Apodaca and Gilbert Apodaca; Sisters: Mary Olguin, Kasey Olguin and Della Marquez.
Pallbearers will be: Teddy Atencio, Nestor Valdez, Frankie Martinez, Chris Arvhuleta, Anthony Archuleta, Ralph Apodaca, Brandon Archuleta and Ryan Archuleta.
Honorary Pallbeares will be: Antony Maestas, Estevan Eylicio, Brenda Archuleta, William Archuleta, III, Johnny Apodaca, Johnny Valez, all of Emmas great Grandchildren and Cassandra Yazzie (Archuleta)
