Funeral Services for Emerson Largo 53, of Smith Lake, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-December 15, 2012-10:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary, Grants, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Smith Lake Community Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Pastor Ernest Largo will officiate.



Emerson was born on October 31,1959 into the Bitterwater People and for the Tachiinii People. He passed away on December 8, 2012 in Tucson, Arizona. His Paternal Clan was: Salt People and Maternal was Tsinnajinnii.



He graduated from Wingate High in 1978. Emerson served with the Air Force from 1979 till 1983. He was known for his great sense of humor. Loved being outdoors and with his family and friends. He worked as a Laborer in San Jose, California and Tucson, Arizona.



He is survived by his Brothers: Theodore Largo of Smith Lake, New Mexico, Al Largo of Atlanta, Georgia; Sisters: Rose McCoy of Gardnerville, Nevada, Lucy Largo of San Jose, California, Louise Yazzie of Smith Lake, New Mexico and Jakki Robinson of Richmond, Virginia.



He is preceded in death by his Parents: Donna Lee Largo and Joe Wilson Largo; Brother: Fred Largo.



Pallbearers will be: Darryl Tapaha, Al Largo, Bill McCoy, Jay Largo, Kendrick Largo, Tristan Emerson.



Honorary Pallbearer will be: Theodore Largo.
