Rosary and Funeral Mass for Elvira Silvas Martinez, 75, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-July 20, 2006-9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Father Matthew Keller will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.

Mrs. Martinez was born November 8, 1930 in Los Angeles, California and passed away on July 17, 2006 in Grants, New Mexico.

She is survived by her children: Sally Martinez of Grants, New Mexico, Susie Sanchez of Phoenix, Arizona, Michael Martinez of Denver Colorado, Mary Galvan of Denver, Colorado; Sisters: Magdalena Trujillo of Phoenix, Arizona, Vickie Rodriguez of Mesa, Arizona; Brothers: Joe Silvas of Phoenix, Arizona, Jessie Silvas, Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona, and Urbano Silvas of Phoenix, Arizona. 12 grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Parents: Jessie Silvas and Alvroda Silva-Silvas; Brothers: Jimmy Silvas and Mike Silvas and a sister Lillie Garcia.
