Funeral Services for Elsie M. Platero 68, of Haystack, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-April 23, 2013-11:00 AM at the Prewitt Assembly of God, Prewitt, New Mexico. Pastor Edward King will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Elsie was born on April 17, 1945 in Crownpoint, New Mexico and she passed away on April 18, 2013 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She is survived by her children: Travis Paltero of Haystack, New Mexico, Diana Bebo of Haystack, New Mexico, Geraldine Ortega of Prewitt, New Mexico, Tami Etsitty of Haystack, New Mexico and Carol Chavez of Bluewater Lake, New Mexico; Sister: Anna Vandever of Haystack, New Mexico; 25 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Harold Platero; Parents: Patty Martinez and Mary Delgarito Martinez; and many brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be: Ruben Ortega, Fabian Ortega, Tad Ortega, Hamp Vandever, Jr., Kyle Bebo, Syvier Largo, Lucas Largo and Darryl Peralto.
