Elias Garcia

Funeral Mass for Elias Garcia, Jr. 79 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-June 18, 2019-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.



A Rosary will be held on Monday-June 17, 2019-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.



Elias was born on July 12, 1939 in Sena, New Mexico and he passed away on June 11, 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a retired Uranium Miner. He was born on his Dad's Birthday and passed away on his Mother's Birthday.



He is survived by his loving wife: Viola "Marquez" Garcia of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Manuel Garcia and wife Tricia of Grants, New Mexico; Daughters: Carmela Garcia and husband Fabian Gonzales of Grants, New Mexico, Glenda Garcia and companion Steven Baca of Arlington, Texas, Cecelia Pena of Grants, New Mexico and Amanda Garcia and husband Donovan Nance of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Brothers: Norbeto Garcia of Sena, New Mexico, Walter Garcia of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sisters: Helen Garcia and Vickie Sena both of Sena, New Mexico; 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his Parents: Elias Garcia, Sr. and Julia "Lovato" Garcia; Brother: Adelio Garcia; Sisters: Pauline Garcia, Ida Pacheco, Ramona Lopez.



Pallbearers will be: Joshua Garcia, Christopher Gonzales, Colby Manuelito, Michael Paul Chacon, Matthew Chacon, Eli Garcia.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tyce Nance, River Garcia, Alexiah Garcia, Trinity Guzman, Taya Nance.
