Edna Leon

Funeral Mass for Edna O. Leon 77 of Pueblo of Acoma, New Mexico will be held on March 4, 2009-10:00 AM at the Santa Maria Catholic Church in Acoma, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Mount of Peace in Acoma.



A rosary and traditional wake will be held on Tuesday-March 3, 2009-7:00 PM at the family home, House #82 Skyline Subdivision, Acoma, New Mexico.



Edna was born on January 31, 1932 in Acoma and passed away on March 1, 2009 at the ACL Hospital in Acoma, New Mexico.



She is survived by her husband: Philip Leon of the Pueblo of Acoma; Children: Miriam Hilborn of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Edwin Leon of the Pueblo of Acoma, Patrick Leo of Albuquerque, New Mexico, John "Jack" Leon of the Pueblo of Acoma, Lori Howeya of San Fidel, New Mexico and Dennis of the Pueblo of Acoma, New Mexico; 21 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her parents: Steve Orilla and Juanita Chno Orilla; Brothers and Sisters.



Pallbearers will be: Edwin Leon, Patrick Leon, Jack Leon, Dennis Leon, Donovan Howeya, Duane Hilborn.
