Funeral Services for Edison Lee Begay, Sr. 50 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-January 4, 2019-11:00 AM at the Pentecostal Church of God in Thoreau, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Kenneth Talk, Sr.

Edison was born on June 21, 1968 in Ottis Community, New Mexico and he passed away on December 27, 2018 in Grants, New Mexico.

He is survived by his Fiancee: Genevieve Yazzie of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Edison Lee Begay, Jr. of Farmington, New Mexico; Daughters: Alvia Begay of Page, Arizona, Edisina Tall of Farmington, New Mexico, Edisinda Youell of Bloomfield, New Mexico, Allison Begay and Kassidey Begay both of Vanderwagen, New Mexico; Brother: Phillip Plaero of Grants, New Mexico; sisters: Juanita Bryan of Bluewater, New Mexico and Diane Platero of Grants, New Mexico; 16 Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his Parents: Sam A. Begay and Jane "Billy" Begay; Brother: Henry Begay; Sisters: Priscilla Spencer and Victoria Morgan.
