Funeral Mass for Longtime businessman and resident of Grants Eddie L. Pena 81, will be held on Wednesday-November 14, 2012-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant.
A Rosary will be held on Tuesday-November 13, 2012-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Eddie was born on May 25, 1931 in San Mateo, New Mexico and he passed away on November 10, 2012 in Grants, New Mexico.
Eddie is survived by his loving Wife of 58 years: Marie Pena of Grants, New Mexico; 14 Children: Jeannette Lister and husband Joel, Paul Pena and wife Janene, Bernadette Gonzales and husband Leon, Eugene Pena and wife Monique, Anthony Pena and wife Jessica, Joanna Pena, Monique Escoto, Edwina Trujillo and husband Mike, Monica MacEachen and husband Dan, Marianne Morrow and husband Rick, Patricia Chambers and husband Mike, Andrea Willcox and husband Edward, Anita Willcox and husband Ben, Suzanne Pena and Juanita Pena; Brothers: Ben Pena and wife Sandra of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Abe Pena and wife Viola of Grants, New Mexico; Sisters: Dorothy Pena-McBride of Grants, New Mexico and Sister Lydia Pena, SL of Denver, Colorado; 19 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in Death by his Parents: Pablo and Pablita Marquez Pena; Brothers: Eloy Pena and Fermin Pena.
Pallbearers will be: Christopher Baca, Jonathan Pena, Anthony Pena, Jeremy Pena, Matthew MacEachen, Jeffery Trujillo, Joseph Trujillo, Michael Chambers, Adam Willcox, Joshua Willcox and Ryan Pena.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Teresa of Avila School, Grants, New Mexico.
