Graveside services for Dustin Lane Van Jelgerhuis 36, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-October 12, 2011-10:00 AM at the Grants Memorial Park.
Dustin was born on October 13, 1972 in Farmington, New Mexico and he left this world on October 9, 2011.
He was a Graduate of Grants High School and loved ROTC. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and practical jokes. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his Mother and Step-Father: Jan and Lee Melchert of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Andrea Holley and husband Marty; Niece: Amanda Schamp and husband Scott; Great Niece and Nephews: Holley Schamp, Hagen Schamp, Sion Holley and Jeff Holley; Aunt: Valerie Eaton; Uncles: Ron Brooks and Sonny Brooks and families: Cousins: Jay Eaton and wife Tracey and Son: James Eaton; Jana Homrich and husband Jim.
He is preceded in death by his fatehr Fred Splane; Grandparents: Opal and Red Brooks, Daniel and Murietta Van Jelgerhuis, Oren and Delpha Splane and Uncle: Johnny Eaton.
