Funeral Mass for Dorothy J. Thigpen, 83 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-September 10, 2008-1:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will be held on Thursday-September 11, 2008-1:00 PM in Aztec, New Mexico.

A Rosary will be held on Tuesday-September 9, 2008-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avella Catholic Church.

Dorothy was born on October 22, 1924 in Aztec, New Mexico and passed away September 7, 2008 in Grants, New Mexico.

She is survived by her husband: Wilber Thigpen of Grants, New Mexico; Daughter: Cecilia Methvin and husband Ron of Grants, New Mexico; Granddaughters: Rhonda Methvin of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kelly Methvin-Ray of Los Lunas, New Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her Parents: Angus Kennedy and Wilma Fisher Kennedy; Brother: John Kennedy and sister Jean Mobley.

Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Methvin, Jim Ray, Jay Mobley, Scotty Thigpen, Brian Kennedy, Sean Kennedy.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bob Simpson, Danny Trujillo and Frank LeFault.
