Funeral Services for Dorothy Alice Short 66, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Monday-August 24, 2009-11:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held on Monday-August 24, 2009-9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Compassion Mortuary.
Dorothy was born on October 12, 1942 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and she passed away on August 19, 2009 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She is survived by her Son: Jerry Shumate of Milan, New Mexico; Daughter: Rita Rathbone of Phoenix, Arizona; Brother: William Short of Dallas, Texas; Sisters: Mary Katherine Slama of Madera, California, Anita Grady of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Dora Short of Madera, California; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Amos Short and Margaret Quintana Short; Brother: John Quintana.
Pallbearers will be: Jerry Shumate, Tim Shumate, Craig Salavdor and Don Elliot.
