Funeral Services for Dorothy Helen Cook of Grants, New Mexico
will be held on Saturday-May 14, 2011-10:00 AM at the United Pentecostal Church on Washington Ave. Grants, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held on Friday-May 13, 2011-3:00 PM til 6:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.
Dorothy was born on September 17, 1927 in Slagle, West Virginia and she passed away on April 29, 2011 in Tucson, Arizona. She was retired from Levines Department Store.
She is survived by her children: Brenda Conkin of Grants, New Mexico and Raymond Lee Cook and wife Darlene of Tucson, Arizona; Grandchildren: Troy McDaugale of Moriarty, New Mexico and Raymond Lee Cook, Jr. of Tucson, Arizona; Great Granddaughter: Jada Lea McDaugale of Morarity and Jasmine Raeannas McDaugale of Moriarty, New Mexico; Step Grandson: Bernard Davis of Moriarty, New Mexico; Brother: Norman Lee Burgess of Florida.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Virgil Cook; Parents: Silas H. Burgess and Maude Mae Burgess; Brothers: Walter Burgess, Dennis Burgess and Silas Burgess, Jr.; Sisters: Mary Webb and Opal Shetler; Grandson: Robert R. Cook; Son in law: James Conkin.
Pallbearers will be: Troy McDaugale, Jr., Barnard Davis, Randy Williams, Bert Morales, Don Russell, and Don Button.
Honorary Pallbearer: Ray Burdine
