Memorial Services for Donald Malcomb Gunn, 78 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-September 12, 2016-10:00 am at Compassion Mortuary.
Donald was born on October 25, 1937 in Gallup, New Mexico and he passed away on September 6, 2016 in Grants, New Mexico. He had worked for Anaconda Mines and helped his parents run the Villa de Cubero Store, Station and Hotel for years.
Don was the youngest son of Wally and Mary Milan Gunn. Don was the 4th youngest of 23 plus first cousins. He was a most endeared person to everyone who met him. Don, was a son, brother, cousin, nephew, husband, father, friend and a good, decent, funny, well informed man that was loved and respected by all who knew him. He adored his grandchildren and loved bragging about their accomplishments.
He is survived by his daughter: Christina Semenchuk and husband: Eugene of Grants, New Mexico; sons: David Gunn and wife
Roberta of Douglasville, Georgia and Jeffery Gunn of Grants, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Elaine Baker, Andrew Gunn, Colin Stoughtenger and Elizabeth Willis and 2 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Wallace Gunn and Mary Milan Gunn; Brother: Robert Gunn.
