Rosary and Funeral Mass for Derrick Anthony Romero, 33 of Maricopa, Arizona will be held on Saturday-May 4, 2019-10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Gallup, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery. Fr. Matthew Keller will be the Celebrant.
Derrick was born on March 24, 1986 in Gallup, New Mexico and he passed away on April 26, 2019 in Casa Grande, Arizona.
He loved to be outdoors fishing, hunting, camping and boating. He played basketball and baseball. Most of all he was a family man. He loved his wife and kids and being with family
He is survived by his Loving wife of 18 years: Quinn "Wolfe" Romero; Daughters: Ava and Adikiss; Sons: Michael and Maximus; Parents: Max and Michelle "Lovato" Romero of Gallup, New Mexico; Grandmother: Cordy "Maestas" Lovato of Gallup, New Mexico; Sister: Desiree Baca and husband Matthew of Maricopa, Arizona; Brothers: Domonic Romero and wife Celina of Gallup, New Mexico, Damian Romero of Maricopa, Arizoana and Benjamin Sanchez and wife Amy of Idaho.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents: Joe L. Lovato and Placido and Margaret Romero and his uncle Patrick Lovato.
