Funeral Mass for Dawn Winona Lynch 32 of Milan and Albuquerque, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-November 20, 2010-9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Cathoic Church 500 High Street, Grants, New Mexico Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the Celebrant. Reception will be held at the San Rafael Catholic Family Center in San Rafael, New Mexico after the burial.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM till 9:30 AM on Saturday-November 20, 2010 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
A rosary will be held on Friday-November 19, 2010-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary 120 N. 3rd Street Grants, New Mexico.
Dawn was Tsenahabilnii (Sleeping Rock Clan), born for the Tsenijikini (Cliff Dwelling clan), her maternal grandfather was Ashiihi (Salt Clan) and her paternal grandfather was Kinlichii'nii (Red House Clan). She was born in Gallup, NM to Dicky & Mae Lynch. Dawn graduated from Thoreau High School and pursued Criminal Justice courses at Gallup UNM, eventually working for the NM Correctional System. She enjoyed being a mother, cooking, attending many social events in her community, and was a passionate advocate and popular profile in the Breast Cancer Awareness efforts throughout New Mexico.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Juan Carlos Zubiate; her sons Dominick Burnell Molina, Zachary Wyatt Zubiate, and Daniel Edward Wilcox; her mother, Mae Lynch; her brothers Larryl Lynch, Richard Lynch, Ray Lynch and Marcus Lynch, and many loving friends and family throughout the Prewitt, Grants & Albuquerque communities.
She is preceded in death by her father: Richard B. Lynch.
Pallbearers will be: Truman House, Allen Hermijo, Marcus Lynch, Larryl Lynch, Ray Lynch & Richard Lynch.
