Funeral Services for Darin DeWayne Dona, 47, of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Friday-October 6, 2006-10:00 AM at the Prewitt Assembly of God. Pastor Ruth Droll will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM at the church.
Darin was born on June 11, 1959 in San Carlos, Arizona and went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2006 in Shiprock, New Mexico. He was employed with the BIA-Gallup as a Contract Specialist at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife: Bernice Dona of Gallup, New Mexico; Children: Derrick Donna of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Kory Dona of Gallup, New Mexico, Sean Dona of Gallup, New Mexico and Leah Dona of Gallup, New Mexico; Brothers: Joseph Dona, Jr. of Bylas, Arizona, and Rufus Dona of Bylas, Arizona; Sisters: Theresa Susan of White River, Arizona, Jonelle Dona of Bylas, Arizona, Sherry Dona of Bylas Arizona, Pamela Dona of Bylas, Arizona and Veronica Dona of Bylas, Arizona.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Joseph Dona, Sr. and Carmen Tony Dona.
Pallbearers will be: Harris Desiderio, Hamp Vandever, Jr., Hank Vandever, Virgil Nelson, ,Ivain Tsosie and Michael Sandoval.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Derrick Dona, Kory Dona, Sean Dona, Rufus Dona, Joseph Dona, Jr., Traves McClanahan, and Darryl Nelson.
