Services for Daniel F. Martinez, Sr., 54, of Bloomfield, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-August 10, 2006-1:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Grants, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.



A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday-August 9, 2006-7:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary.



Mr. Martinez was born May 4, 1952 in Grants, New Mexico and passed away on August 6, 2006 in Farmington, New Mexico.



He is survived by his wife: Valarie Martinez of Bloomfield, New Mexico; Children: Ricky Martinez of Bloomfield, New Mexico, Melanie F. Martinez of Bloomfield, New Mexico, Danny F. Martinez, Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Donna Martinez of Phoenix, Arizona, Darlene Valdez of Grants, New Mexico, and Dion Valdez of Grants, New Mexico; Sister: Eloisa Salazar of Bloomfield, New Mexico; Brothers: Jeff Martinez of Grants, New Mexico, Paul Martinez of Grants, New Mexico, George Martinez of Farmington, New Mexico, Bobby Martinez of Tucson, Arizona, and Jerry Martinez of Santa Rosa, New Mexico. 11 Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Polito Martinez and Rita Salazar Martinez; Sister: Theresa Martinez.
