Rosary and Funeral Mass for Cornelio S. Garcia 82 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-January 20, 2018-9:30 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Rafael Community Cemetery.
Cornelio was born on September 9, 1935 in San Rafael, New Mexico and he passed away on January 18, 2018 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Armed Forces.
He is survived by his Daughters: Sarah Garcia of Milan, New Mexico and Kathie Garcia and husband Jesse Contreras of San Rafael, New Mexico; Sister: Tena Ortiz of Phoenix, Arizona; Grandchildren: Ricky Garcia and wife Karen of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Melanie Vigil and husband Anthony of Milan, New Mexico, Benisha Garcia of Grants, New Mexico and Santana Garcia and Rudy CdeBaca of Grants, New Mexico; Great Grandchildren: Mariah Vigil, Nathan Vigil, Dominic Vigil and Deago Garcia; son-in-Law: Jerry Armijo.
He is preceded in death by his Loving Wife: Clorinda "Gurule" Garcia; Daughter: Gail Garcia and Son: Timmy Garcia; Parents: Elario Garcia and Clara "Saavedra" Garcia; Sisters: Flora Ortiz, Mary Garcia, Corrine Rodriguez and Mable Vigil.
Pallbearers will be: Jesse Contreras, Jerry Armijo, Ricky Garcia, Rudy CdeBaca, Anthony Vigil, Tim Vigil.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: all of his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
