Celebration of Life for Corene O. Barnes 78 of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-April 13, 2018-2:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church 530 Jefferson Ave. Grants, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Pastor Archie Barnes will celebrate.
Corene was born on March 3, 1940 in Talihina, Oklahoma and she passed away on April 11, 2018 in Grants, New Mexico.
She is survived by her Loving Husband: Archie Barnes of Grants, New Mexico; Daughters: Connie Gifford and husband Michael of Grants, New Mexico, Tammy Maynard and husband Larry of Grants, New Mexico and Vickie Godfrey and husband Steve of White Pine, Michigan, Debbie Drew of Poteau, Oklahoma and Darlene Chavez of Cubero, New Mexico; Sister: Morene Gooch of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Brother: Edmond Cummings of Colbert, Oklahoma; 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: Audman Cummings and Susie "Neil" Cummings; Sister: Lorene Peters; Brothers: Raymond Cummings, Oto Cummings, Frank Cummings and Auddie Cummings.
Pallbearers will be:Randy Gifford, Ryan Gifford, Daniel Maynard, Steven Godfrey, Jesse Godfrey, Jacob Godfrey.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Michael Gifford, Larry Maynard, Steve Godfrey, Johnny Wasilio, David Masche.
