Funeral Services for Cordelia Ann Dempsey-Leeds 73, of Casa Blanca, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-December 1, 2012-11:OO AM at the Laguna-Acoma Baptist Indian Mission in Budville, New Mexico. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery. Pastor Byron Sarracino will officiate.
A wake will be held on Friday-November 30, 2012 at the Family Home in Casa Blanca, New Mexico.
Cordelia was born on June 19, 1939 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and she passed away on November 28, 2012 in Casa Blanca, New Mexico. She was a retired school teacher for the Albuquerque Public Schools.
She is survived by her children: Arlan Dempsey of Casa Blanca, New Mexico, LaNell Chee of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Grace Dempsey-Ward of Seattle, Washington, Claudia Dempsey-Boles of Aiea, Hawaii; Sisters: Katherine Lente of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Florence Parker of Tuscon, Arizona and Sarah Tsosie of Seama, New Mexico; 13 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her Parents: Clifford Leeds, Sr. and Eileen Leeds; Son: Dean Dempsey; Brother: Clifford Leeds, Jr.; Sisters: Sunshine Valeria and Ruth Marmon.
Pallbearers will be: Catelyn Ward, Cherokee E. Boles, Jr., Anthony J. Boles, Dean John Boles, Mike Martinez, William Martinez, Scott Martinez, Noah Segura and Micah Segura, Anthony Boles, Jr..
Honorary Pallbeareres will be: Arlan Dempsey, Steven Ward, Joe Segura, Jr., Alvin Tsosie, Jr. and Robert Leeds.
