Services for Connie L. Killough, 68, of Grants, N.M., will include a Visitation at the Grants Church of Christ on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the Church at 11 a.m.



Connie was born on May 30, 1946, in Albuquerque, N.M. to Antonio and Ramona Dominguez.



She passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 7, 2014.



Connie graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1965. She was employed by Continental Trailways as a hostess following completion of her high school education.



Connie met Allen Killough through mutual friends in 1970. The couple was married on June 26, 1971, in Albuquerque, N.M.



Connie and Allen made their home in Grants and were married for almost 43 years. Together they operated several successful businesses as well as raised two sons, Matthew, 41, of Lubbock, Texas, and Robert, 39, of Bayfield, Colo.



She was a member of the Grants Church of Christ for 43 years. Connie enjoyed working with members of the congregation who had been widowed. She also volunteered at the Grants Community Pantry.



Connie spent her life devoted to her family. She loved hosting family gatherings and spending time with her children and grandchildren.



Connie was preceded in death by her parents: Antonio and Ramona Dominguez, of Albuquerque; and her sister: Theresa Lucero, of Chama, N.M.



She is survived by her loving husband: Allen Killough, of Grants; son: Matthew Killough and his family, Wendy, Coby, and Garret, of Lubbock; son: Robert Killough and his family, Jenni, Cade, Payton, and Sage, of Bayfield; brother: James Dominguez, of Bloomfield, N.M.; and sister: Alice Lovato, of Aztec, N.M.
