Funeral Mass for Clifford M. Cooper 82, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Monday-April 20, 2009-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will be the celebrant. Private Burial will take place at a later date.
A rosary will be held on Sunday-April 19, 2009-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Mr. Cooper was born on July 21, 1926 in Lees Summit, MO and passed away on April 16, 2009 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving in World War II.
He is survived by his wife: Pacita Valdez Cooper of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Ron Cooper, Sr. and wife Sandra of Cozad, Nebraska, Reno Cooper of Cozad, Nebraska and Christian Cooper-Halverson; Brother: William Cooper of Lacross, Kansas; Grandchildren: Rena Jamor, Charity Dunphy, Ron Cooper, Jr., Brandon Cooper,Halem Halverson; Great Grandchildren: Ashland Cooper, Dylan Cooper, Avery Dunphy, Alana Major, Maeloni Major, Bethany Dunphy and Garrett Cooper; Aunt: Franceline Parris of Harrisonville, MO.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Harry Marshall Cooper and Emma Mae Cooper; Brother: Tom Cooper.
Pallbearers will be: Ron Cooper, Sr., Reno Cooper, Larry Grider, Jeffery Matilla, MD., Freddie Bringuis, William Cooper
