Funeral Mass for Charles "Chucky" Dennis Chavez 21, of Glendale, Arizona and Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Monday-October 11, 2010-10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Lawrence O'Keefe will be the celebrant.
A rosary will be held on Sunday-October 10, 2010-7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Chucky was born July 24, 1989 in Gallup, New Mexico and he passed away on October 5, 2010 in Glendale, Arizona. Chucky was a graduate of Gallup Catholic High School.
He is survived by his parents: Charlie and Terri Chavez of Gallup, New Mexico; Sisters: Charmain Sisneros and husband David of Glendale and Candyce Chavez of Glendale, Arizona; Nephew: Jacob Sisneros of Glendale, Arizona; Nieces: Charlee Sisneros, Ashleigh Jaramillo and Ally Jaramillo all of Glendale, Arizona and his Maternal Grandparents: Dennis and Gail Satermo of Gallup, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents: Timoteo Chavez and Virgie Mazon Chavez.
Pallbearers will be: Chris Guillen, Teddy Guillen, Eddie Jaramillo, Andrew Roberts, Ryan Castillo, Will Scaggari, Chris Weaver and Mark Trujillo.
In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Gallup Catholic Schools, 515 Park Ave. Gallup, New Mexico 87301 in Memory of Charles "Chucky" Chavez.
