Christopher was born on July 27, 1968 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and he passed away on May 3, 2019 in Gallup, New Mexico. He worked for Gallup Lumber for several years and returned to insulation business. He had completed his antiterrorism awareness training and haswoper40/oash certificates.
Chris loved cooking, traveling, golf and landscaping. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboy's. He was known for his good sense of humor and friends.
He is survived by his Loving Wife: Sonya "Ortiz-Kerley" Benavidez of Gallup, New Mexico; Brother: Kevin Benavidez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Children: Chris Benavidez, Jr, and Donna Benavidez both of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kristina Benavidez of Odessa, Texas; Step Daughter: Erika Suzuki Holden of Odessa, Texas; 6 Grandchildren; Nieces and several cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
He is preceded in death by his Mother: Ruby Orozco; Sister: Donna Benavidez.
