Funeral Service for Chee John Smith, Sr. 85, of Whitehorse Lake, New Mexico will be held on Friday-November 28, 2014-10:00 AM at the Whitehorse Lake Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow on Private Family Land in Whitehorse Lake, New Mexico.
Chee was born on August 10, 1929 in Chaco Canyon, New Mexico and he passed away on November 24, 2014 in Crownpoint, New Mexico.
He is survived by his children: Herbert Smith of Salt Lake City, Utah, Chee Smith, Jr. of Whitehorse Lake, New Mexico, Robert Smith of Gallup, New Mexico, Anthony Smith of Salt Lake City, Utah, Franklin Smith of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Lena Smith of Whitehorse Lake, New Mexico; Sisters: Betty Betone of Whitehorse Lake, New Mexico, Helen Succo of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Bessie Enrico of Crownpoint, New Mexico and Jessie Thomas of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his Sons: Phillip Smith and Benjamin Smith; Parents: John Smith and Emma Tsosie Smith; Brohter: Tom Smith.
Pallbearers will be: Chee Smith, Jr., Robert Smith, Anthony Smith, Franklin Smith, Payton Smith, Earl Betone, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Leonard Smith, Wallace Smith, Brandon Smith, Matthew Smith, Jake Smith, Jarrett Smith.
