Charles Lamance

Funeral Services for Charles T. Lamance, 80 of Pie Town, New Mexico will be held Wednesday-October 29, 2008-2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church on Mountain Road, Grants, New Mexico. Burial will follow at a later date on the Family Ranch in Pie Town, New Mexico.



Mr. Lamance was born on December 16, 1927 in Dill City, Oklahoma and passed away on October 25, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was retired from the Ciniza Refinery in James Town, New Mexico. Charles was a Veteran of the US Army serving during World War II.



He is survived by his wife: Varna Lamance of Pie Town, New Mexico; Children: Sharon Clanton and husband Jimmy of Pie Town, New Mexico, Karen Ward and husband Jim of Grants, New Mexico, Leonard Lamance and wife Julie of Bluewater, New Mexico and Darryl Lamance and wife Doloris of Los Lunas, New Mexico; 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Thomas Ruben Lamance and Bertha Wheeler Lamance; Son: Dwane Lamance.



Pallbearers will be: Kyel Lamb, Ralph Spencer, Jim Dwayne Ward, Darryn Ward, Travis Lamance, Tracy Lamance.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: Aaron Stansberry and Jacob Lamance.
