Rosary and Funeral Mass for Cecilia "Angel" Dean Macias 68, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Friday-September 13, 2013-9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Father Joseph will officiate.
Cecilia was born on May 30, 1945 in Gallup, New Mexico and she passed away on September 10, 2013 in Grants, New Mexico surrounded by her family.
Cecilia enjoyed cooking for everyone and everyone loved her cooking! She was a loyal member of the Catholic Church. She loved camping, fishing, traveling, and family barbeques. Cecilia always spent time to be with God's children with special disabilities in her spare time.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years: Ray Macias, Sr. of Grants, New Mexico; Children: Anita Ramirez and James of Grants, Sarah Rodriguez and Michael, Sr. of Gallup, Christine Macias of Grants, Ray Macias, Jr. and Jovanna of Grants; Brothers: Peter Torrez and Delores of Gallup, David Torrez of Gallup; Sisters: Ruby Hightchew and Bob of Grants, Sandra Evans and Todd of Jamestown, Tina Gallegos and Chris of Yahtahey.
Grandchildren: Felicia Rodriguez, Jacqueline Labbe Patricia Macias, Melinda Macias, Michelle Labbe, Shatal Dillon, Michael Rodriguez, Jr., Rebecca Macias, Kandace Dilon, Keana Taliman, Rae Ann Rodriguez, Isaac Oso, De'Ana Oso, Rayleen Macias, and Ray Macias, III.
Great Grandchildren: Elexia Duckett, Ashanti Gomez, Alize Chavez, Ajia Duckett, Raeyna Valdez, Jazzlyn Carrasco, Nicholas Carrasco, Jr., Destiny Macias, Izabella Taliman and Luciano Hiles.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Porfilio Torrez and Loretta Franco Torrez; Brother: Leroy Torrez; Great Grandchild: Laticia Lucero.
Pallbearers will be: David Quintana, Leroy Torrez, Peter Torrez, Jr., Nicholas Carrasco, Isaac Oso, Pete Lopez, Jr., Andrew Baker, Bobby Macias.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
