A rosary and funeral mass for Carolyn Lee Bustos, 68 of Grants, will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 10:00 am at St.Teresa of Avila Church. Burial of her cremains will be at a later date on family property.
Carolyn was born on October 10, 1944 in Los Angeles CA and passed peacefully in the company of her family on August 4, 2013 in Grants NM.
Through the years Carolyn worked at Kiddie Kollege Kindergarten, Small Wonders Daycare Center, and for several years. Carolyn did contract work for American Society of Composers, Artists, and Publishers. She also volunteered at St. Teresa CCD and RCIA programs. She highly enjoyed cooking for her large family, traveling, camping and family reunions.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Bernard Bustos Sr., Her children Anthony Bustos and wife Ramona, Bernie Jr. and wife Jeanenne, Colleen Bustos, Cary Bustos and wife Victoria, Tery Bustos and wife Darlene, Son in law Wayne Sabroe, 25 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and 2 sisters Bernie Falsetta and Rosemary Wasendorf.
Preceded in death by her parents Carl D. and Vivian Gallasso, brother Carl O. Gallasso, and daughter Deborah Jean Sabroe.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting contributions be made to Grants Good Samaritan Center in Carolyn's name.
