Rosary and Funeral Mass for Carlos E. Chavez, Jr. 76 of San Rafael, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-March 13, 2018-9:30 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Rafael Community Cemetery.



Carlos was born on October 13, 1941 and he passed away on March 8, 2018 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Army.



He is survived by his Wife: Damacia "Jaramillo" Chavez of San Rafael, New Mexico; Sons: Clifford Chavez, Adrian Chavez and Gary Porter all of San Rafael, New Mexico; Daughters: Dorinda Jaramillo of San Rafael, New Mexico, Dorela Chavez and Dorothy Chavez both of Grants, New Mexico; Step Mother: Martha Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico: Brothers: Michael Chavez and Mario Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Sisters: Abbby Ricker of Washington, Sarah Walthur of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dorothy Richardson of Las Vegas, Nevada, Anita Erb of Moriarty, New Mexico, Rita Gutierrez of San Rafael, New Mexico, Yvonne Vega of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Yolanda Montano of Grants, New Mexico; 16 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his Son: Carlos E. Chavez, III; Parents: Carlos E. Chavez, Sr. and Rita Chavez; Brothers: Benny Chavez and Reuben Chavez: Sisters: Dolores Vigil, Sister Pena.



Pallbearers will be: Adrian Chavez, Gary Porter, Randy Chavez, Michael Chavez, Jeffrey Jaramillo and Armando Jaure.
