Funeral Services for Bonnie Bennett 83, of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-March 7, 2012-12:00 (Noon) at Compassion Mortuary. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park.
Bonnie was born on August 24, 1928 in Bienville, Louisiana and she passed away on March 3, 2012 in Milan, New Mexico after a lengthy illness due to Parkinson's. She married Lewis T. Bennett on December 23, 1950 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was a retired Nurse having worked for 40 years at Cibola General Hospital from 1972-1992.
She is survived by her Sons: Roy Bennett of Milan, New Mexico and James Bennet of Silver City, New Mexico; Brother: Larry Grigg of Milan, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her loving Husband: Lewis T. Bennett in 2009; Parents: Fred Gordon Grigg and Lonnie Day Grigg; Brothers: Fred Stanley Grigg, Harold Grigg, Charles Grigg and Thomas Grigg; Sister: Bonnie Grace Grigg.
Pallbearers will be: Larry Diaz, Joe Diaz, Roy Bennett, Colby Stewart, Luke Grigg and Jessie Grigg.
