Memorial Services for Bicente Almanza 89, of Grants, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-August 1, 2012-7:00 PM at The Way, the Truth and the Light in Grants, New Mexico. Burial will be held on Thursday-August 2, 2012-10:00 AM at the Grants Memorial Park.

Bicente was born on January 22, 1923 in Chamberino, New Mexico and he passed away on July 28, 2012 in Grants, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of World War II serving with the US Navy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years: Josefa Almanza of Grants, New Mexico; Son: Pastor Danny Almanza and wife of Cecilia of Grants, New Mexico; Daughters: Clara Smith and husband Danny of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Rosie Gutierrez and husband Thomasw of Milan, New Mexico, Elizabeth Lucero of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Maryann Garaica and Husband Simon of Grants, New Mexico; Brothers: Canuto Salcido and Nick Salcido both of Carlsbad, New Mexico; 17 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son: Juan Almanza; Parents: Jose and Pabla Almanza
