Aurelio Apodaca

Funeral Mass for Aurelio C. Apodaca, 79 of San Rafael, New Mexico will be held on Wednesday-April 2, 2008-10:00 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the San Rafael Community Cemetery. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will officiate.



A Rosary will be held on Tuesday-April 1, 2008-7:00 PM at the San Rafael Catholic Church.



Mr. Apodaca was born on June 17, 1928 in San Rafael, New Mexico and passed away March 29, 2008 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.



He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Agapita Baca Apodaca of San Rafael, New Mexico; Children: Lupe Jaramillo of San Rafael, New Mexico, Joe Apodaca of Grants, New Mexico, Nestor Apodaca of San Rafael, New Mexico and Johnny Apodaca of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brothers: Frankie Apodaca of San Rafael, New Mexico and Ralph Apodaca of Grants, New Mexico; Sisters: Mary Olguin of Pecos, New Mexico, Elosia Valdez of San Rafael, New Mexico, Peggy Valdez of San Rafael, New Mexico and Emma Archuleta of San Rafael, New Mexico; 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Nestor Apodaca and Martina Chavez Apodaca; Son: Michael Apodaca; Brothers: Viviano Apodaca and Gilbert Apodaca; Sisters: Della Marquez and Casey Olguin.



Pallbearers will be: John Valdez, Billy Archuleta, Clarence Marquez, Ralph Apodaca, Jr., Bobby Apodaca, Leonard Apodaca, Bennie Torrez, Eric Garcia.



Honorary Pallbearers will be: James Valenzuela, OJ Tomlinson, Joe Rodriguez, Gene Barela, Eugene Chavez, Eduardo Chavez, Ricky Chavez, Charlie Barela.
