Augustine Mazon

Memorial Rosary and Mass for Augustine "Tino" Mazon 64, of Gallup, New Mexico will be held on Friday-December 10, 2010-10:00 AM at St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Knights of Columbus Section-Hillcrest Cemetery.



Tino was born on October 15, 1946 in Gallup, New Mexico and he passed away on December 6, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He was retired from the City of Gallup as Fire Chief. He was a graduate of Gallup High School 1966. A member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree and served as the Financial Secretary. Member of the Tri State Fire Fighters Association. He was an Avid Minnesota Vikings Fan, enjoyed yearly conventions, fishing and hunting.



He is survived by his loving wife: Frances Mazon of Gallup, New Mexico; Daughter: Darby Mazon and Son: Richard Mazon both of Gallup, New Mexico; Sisters: Mildred Alonzo and husband Gilbert of Gallup, New Mexico and Maxine Garcia and husband Erasmo of Gallup, New Mexico; Step Mother: Cadelaria Mazon of Gallup, New Mexico; Grandchildren: Christine Gonzalez, Augustine Gonzalez and Alicia Gonzalez all of Gallup, New Mexico.



He is preceded in death by his parents: Joseleon "Joe" Mazon and Livrita Mazon.



Pallbearers will be: Charlie Chavez, Alvonso sanchez, Sammy Alonzo, Jake Campos, Freddie Chavez, Steven Alonzo, Johnny Green, Jr., Richard Mazon, John Saucedo, Skipper Duran, Porky Abeita, Dennis Perales, Eloy Salas, Mike Sekia, Joey Alonzo and Dickie Chavez.
