Funeral Services for Armando Galvan, Sr. of Portales, New Mexico will be held on Saturday-November 12, 2011-10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Thoreau, New Mexico. Pastor Alvin Cayatineto will officiate. Burial will follow at the Thoreau Community Cemetery.
Armando was born on July 8, 1957 in Levelland, Texas and he passed away on November 3, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He is survived by his wife: Etta Miller of Thoreau, New Mexico; Son: Armando Galvan, Jr. of Thoreau, New Mexico; Sisters: Rosa Palomo of Lubbock, Texas, Silvia Jiminez of Clovis, New Mexico, Olga Tarrazes of Portales, New Mexico; Brothers: Jesus Galvan of Portales, New Mexico, Alexandro Galvanof Thoreau, New Mexico, Peter Galvan of Clovis, New Mexico, Joe Galvan of Clovis, New Mexico, Joe Galvan of Clovis, New Mexico and Adam Galvan of Clovis, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Jesus R. Galvan and Carolyn Olivarez; Grandson: Alondo J. Galvan.
Pallbearers will be: Mark Galvan, Joe Galvan, Adam Galvan, John Roman, Armando Galvan and David Llanez.
