Funeral Services for Annie Ruth Allen, 94, of Bluewater Acres, New Mexico will be held on Thursday-June 23, 2005-9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, Thoreau, New Mexico. Pastor Robert Sowers will officiate. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, New Mexico on Thursday-June 23, 2005-3:00 PM.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday-June 22, 2005-11:00 AM-6:00 PM at the Compassion Mortuary.
Mrs. Allen was born March 8, 1911 in Bosque County Texas and died on June 19, 2005 in Bluewater Acres, New Mexico. She was a member of the NM Association for Family and Community Education for over 50 years. Active in the Thoreau Senior Center for many years, The Foxy Country Ladies and the Christ Fellowship Church in Bluewater Lake.
She is survived by her children: Jimmy R. Allen of Bluewater Acres, New Mexico; Jerry M. Allen of Florence, Arizona, and Joyce L. Parker of Deming, New Mexico; Sister: Reva Mae Davis of Darby, Connecticut; 13 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Thomas S. Allen; Parents: John C. Bullock and Maude Elizabeth Ray Bullock; Daughter: Janet Allen; Sisters: Ruby Bennett, Rena Biffel, Roxy Heaton; Brothers: Ray Bullock, Roy Bullock Buster Bullock, Rex Bullock, Roe L. Bullock and Bill Clements.
Pallbearers will be:Sky Allen Cassidy, Jason David Cassidy, Shawn Joseph Marquez, Dustin Lee Elkins, Cody Lynn Elkins, Scotty Christian Baker, and Jack Brian Drake
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Lee Owen, Anthony Scott Allen, Michael Aaron Cowick, Martin Robert Cowick, John Henry Nichols, and Joshua Tyler Randolph.
Compassion Mortuary of Grants, is in charge of arrangements.
